KarlLang Privacy Policy

KarlLang (“the App”) is a German vocabulary learning application focused on offline, typing-based study. This privacy policy explains what data the App handles and how it is used.

1. Data collection

KarlLang does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers.

• No account or sign-in
• No user profile, email, or identifiers are collected
• No analytics SDK or advertising SDK is integrated
• No data is sent to any backend server controlled by the developer

All learning progress and settings are stored locally on your device only.

2. Data stored on your device

The App stores the following information locally on the device, for the sole purpose of providing its learning features:

• Study settings (mode, level, word count, etc.)
• Word progress (review level, due date, correct/wrong results)
• Basic statistics (number of words reviewed, mistakes, bookmarks)
• App preferences (language, haptic/sound settings)

This information:

• Stays on your device
• Is not shared with the developer
• Is removed if you delete the app or clear the app’s local data
