KarlLang Privacy Policy

KarlLang (“the App”) is a typing-based vocabulary learning application for adult learners. This privacy policy explains what data the App handles and how it is used.

1. Data collection

KarlLang does not collect personally identifiable information.

• No account or sign-in
• No name, email address, or account information is collected
• No advertising SDK is integrated
• No data is sent to any backend server controlled by the developer

The app uses Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as app interactions and study activity.

This data is used only to improve the app experience and is not linked to any individual user.

2. Data stored on your device

The App stores the following information locally on the device, for the sole purpose of providing its learning features:

• Study settings (mode, level, word count, etc.)
• Word progress (review level, due date, correct/wrong results)
• Basic statistics (number of words reviewed, mistakes, bookmarks)
• App preferences (language, haptic/sound settings)

This locally stored learning data stays on your device and is removed if you delete the app or clear the app’s local data.

3. Third-party services

KarlLang uses Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data.
